I did one of these for Nestle a while back, but hopefully I get more input on this one for Rose ;)

While I was working on something else, I started thinking about Rose's color scheme, and I found that I've never been totally comfortable with it. Whenever I picture her in my mind, all I see is her red hair, blues eyes, and brownish fur. All of the colors in the rest of her outfit are really a blur to me, and I'll never know why I settled on magenta for her original sweater color...
What I'd really like to know is this: What colors do you all like on her? It'd be an immense help if folks could tell me what colors they feel work best, or even offer some better suggestions. The fur coloring is different on every other one as well, so it'd be nice to know which fur color works as well, even if the changes are minimal.

Really, Rose is a character that I seem to have a difficult time gaining attention for, but she's still one of my favorites. I'd really love to hear any insights that folks have on what might make her more appealing or what works in her design already. Anything at all that anyone says will be a major help, so please don't hesitate to tell me your opinions :)

To be blunt, none of those are very lovely colours... but I guess I have to say number II.

The colours just match the best on this one and it's my personal favorite. I also think she looks better with darker fur...

Yeah, Rose isn't one to wear pretty colors, as her personality itself isn't very pretty. Do you think that there's a color that's not here that would suit her better? I rather like her with darker fur as well :)

Number 1 is her typical outfit, but number 2 is probably the closest to being her secondary. I think I just threw number 4 out there because I like purple ;P

Well... if you wanted more brownish fur, then 2's a pretty good choice (and it helps that it makes her look tough ;) ). The silver sweater goes with everything, as does the blue - so selecting color really comes down to what suites Rose's personality more (still, it's nice to have a backup color you can surprise people with occasionally - cartoon characters, after all, don't always have to wear the same stuff :XD: ).

If it comes down to what 'looks' the best, I'd go with #3 - that fur color goes with just about everything up there.

Of those choices, my pick is #4, partly out of bias toward violet. But if it's not like Rose enough, or if other characters wear colors too similar, I'd go for #3 or #2 (preferably with darker pants). The shirt and shoes matching her eyes in #5 don't look very convincing. The grey of #6 is boring. And altho it matches her name, pink seems an unlikely match for her personality.

At the moment, she seems to be saying, "Are you staring at my butt? If so, quit it."
